It’s that time of the year again for our Christmas tradition 2019! The time where I get to make my most favorite family video and reminisce about how quickly life changes as I look back through the previous year’s videos.
This year didn’t go quite as smoothly as the past years though.
You’ll see ALL the bloopers as you watch the video. Three tree farms, a tree that doesn’t fit in our house, 2 computers froze and DELETED ALL the footage, the tree falls over, and that’s just the highlights!
But sometimes it’s a blessing to have so many mishaps at one time. When it’s one right after the other, you can’t help but laugh, and I think that’s what this holiday is going to look like for us this year. Christmas tradition 2019 may look like nothing going exactly as planned and the best thing to do is just laugh. If this video is any indication of what it to come at least!
Needless to say, we sure laughed (and maybe cried a bit) during the making of this video. And I did have to give myself a time out at one point. Ha! But isn’t that what some of the best memories are made of? The imperfect moments that draw you together.

Reminiscing and looking over the past years is always one of the best moments of making these videos. No matter how hard life is or how busy we get, we can look back on the joy we have had and the love we have for each other. I am so thankful Brent randomly suggested we start this tradition 10 years ago!
