It’s hard to believe Christmas 2017 is one week away! This means it’s time for our annual virtual Christmas card to all of you.
The Minter Christmas Card
At one time in life, I handwrote Christmas cards to everyone. Somewhere along the time of our move across the country, I stopped. I’m not exactly sure why I stopped writing and started using this video as our card, but I’ll be honest. The video sure is more fun!
I hope you find it fun as well and can see a few of my kids’ personalities shine through in these brief moments. For example, you’ll definitely discover which kid likes the spotlight, which kid likes things perfect, and which kid is a bit dramatic after watching this Christmas 2017 video! Among other things I’m sure.
Our 8-year tradition
This is probably our very favorite Christmas tradition and has turned into such a fun way to capture what our family is like in this season of life. We randomly began this tradition 8 years ago. Justus was still in a high chair, we lived in Texas, and never even thought about buying a real tree.
Sometime after moving to Iowa and realizing our fake tree looked more like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree than what we wanted, we ventured into buying a real tree and have never looked back.
