It’s Christmas month! This is the one time of the year where I like to pull back the curtains and give you a little glimpse into my family’s Christmas 2020. It truly is my most favorite thing to do!
Our 11 Year Tradition
This particular tradition started 11 years ago. We started it just as something fun to do one particular Christmas. But it has ended up being the thing the whole family looks forward to every December. I truly love sitting around the table on decorating night and hearing from each kid their favorite memories of years gone by. So thankful this particular tradition stuck, and I’ve already told the kids they will return to my house to continue it until I die (they may have rolled their eyes a bit).

It’s always one of my favorite Christmas activities to look back over the years of doing these videos. Each one of us have a favorite year. Whether it’s Justus unraveling all the lights, or Elliana dancing like a ballerina, or Avery putting all the ornaments in the same spot, these videos remind us of the joy we’ve been given and the family moments we have shared. Life can sometimes make us forget these moments which makes me treasure this tradition even more!
I truly pray this Christmas 2020 season brings you a deeper love for Christ as we celebrate his birth and the beginning of him making all things new.
