One year ago, I nervously launched this website not really knowing what God wanted to do with it, BUT I knew what He was stirring in my heart.
I wanted to create a space for women to engage with the things of God. My entire adult life has been spent helping women know and follow God, and suddenly I was in a season of life where God began to call me to share what he was teaching me in a new space.
Everything about my journey over the past 20 years led me to launch this space, and here we are a year later and I thought it might be about time to share my reflections and some of my favorite moments of the past year.
Favorite Blog Posts
I pour my heart into everything that goes on this site. This past year, while going through seminary, I’ve started breaking down many different books of the Bible on the blog. But at the same time, I still wanted to write articles that spoke to what you told me you needed. Here are 3 of my favorites of those types of posts.
Favorite Free Resources
Over the past year, I’ve put out almost FIFTY free resources. When I sat down to count, I couldn’t believe that number! But I won’t bore you by listing all of them. Here are just my 3 favorites.
Selling things does NOT come naturally to me, so actually selling products has been a huge learning curve over the past year. I have several products in the store that I’m proud of, but here are my current top 2.
Favorite thing about this past year
Meeting so many of YOU and hearing your needs, struggles, and desires as you learn to interact with God has been the highlight of my year! I hear your voices in my head as I sit down and begin to pray through new resources that need to be created. I pray for you as you send me your requests and let me into those hard parts of life. Your emails, DMs, and comments all inspire me to create better products and content for YOU.
Everything about getting to know the community in this space has been such an unexpected blessing and a treasure over this past year. Happy 1 year to this site! Praying God continues to lead and guide and create a space for this community to gather and know him more.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
